What better way to end the year than to observe the Lord's ordinances? Jesus commanded us to do this in remembrance of Him. Communion is a time of not only obeying the Lord's commandment but also of remembering all He has done for us not only during this past year but throughout our lives. What has the Lord done for you this past year?
